waterproof label

Waterproof labels are unique adhesive products that are designed to withstand moisture exposure. There are many products that require labels  that will never fade, peel or be damaged by water. Yiko understands that these labels must have a long  life, because they allow customers to clearly see important information. Whether a  label is  on a bottle, on a box or in a machine, the colors and words are intended to remain clear and sharp—whether it’s fresh out of the rain brand new or whether it’s already spent time stored in a cold or  wet  facility. That is  why waterproof labels are commonly used in various industries such as food, chemicals and electronics. These labels have the  job of not only  protecting  the appearance of the product, but keeping people safe by effectively communicating instructions or warnings in all kinds of challenging conditions.

It is important, however, to note  that waterproof labels  are not regular stickers. They are made to be able to deal with a lot of really tough conditions. Products subject  to rain, spills or even freezing cold will  not harm these weatherproof labels. Consider a half-empty bottle of juice in the  refrigerator or a cleaning product in the damp basement. The label is ruined,  customers can no longer see what’s  in it or how to use the product safely. This can lead to harm, or even accidents. Yiko’s labels can be used underwater and are resistant to water, as most of their materials are made of plastic films and coated paper that don’t absorb water.  The ink is also special — it doesn’t smudge or run when  it touches liquids. That means the  label will last a long time, no matter how many people handle it or however much you get to  moving it around.

What Makes Waterproof Labels Essential for Durable Product Packaging

In addition to being water resistant, these labels withstand oils,  chemicals, and sunlight. Imagine a  bottle of motor oil sitting in a garage or one of sunscreen left outside on a sunny day. The label must still look  good,  and keep its message clear. Yiko  ensures the labels perform here  because a label that breaks down means the  product looks cheap and  lacking in quality.  Then, there’s  the fact that when products are shipped long distances, the very transit of those goods can expose them to heat, cold or moisture. Waterproof labels ensure  products  maintain a professional and reliable appearance from factory to the hands of consumers. It can  be tricky picking the correct type of waterproof label for a business but it is extremely important. There are  number of types of labels  out there that  can be utilized according to one's needs. Yiko is well aware that companies want labels that  are effective and don’t cost the earth. Now, consider where the  label will be used. Will it be  attached to a bottle, a box — or perhaps  a machine? Different surfaces need different labels. Curved bottles, for example,  require  flexible labels that will bend -- not break -- while flat boxes can be serviced by a stiffer label. Next, you'll need to think about  what type of water or liquid the label should be able to withstand. A label that’s enough  to withstand  the steps isn’t going to be strong enough for chemicals or oils.
